LEE CENTER — The descendants of William Cletus and Frieda Marie Sattler Bowers held their 35th Annual Family Reunion on Saturday, Sept. 3, at Lee Town Park, with 31 members and guests attending. 

The youngest attending was Johanna Lombardi, the 10-week-old daughter of Jack and Emily Runninger Lombardi. She is the first third-great granddaughter of William and Frieda Sattler Bowers. Traveling the furthest to attend were Keith and Laurie Ernst DeGraaf from Grove City, Pa.

Old photos of ancestors and past reunions were shared and a pot luck meal was enjoyed. 

The following slate of officers were elected: Edward Marsh, president; Frieda ‘Fritzy’ Fitch, vice president; Joan Wittman, secretary; George Hickey, historian; Kelly Runninger, entertainment and games/awards chairman; and Pat Hill and Karen Marsh, archivists and genealogists.  

Next year’s reunion is scheduled for Aug. 26, 2023, at Lee Town Park.
