A portion of Erie Boulevard West was shut down Monday morning while National Grid fixed some downed power lines.
National Grid officials said a tree hit the wires and knocked them to the ground shortly after 6 a.m. Officials said roughly 300 customers were without power while crews fixed the wires. Rome Police were on scene to redirect traffic during the peak morning commute.
National Grid said the wires were fixed and power was restored by 8 a.m.
