INLET — Donna Colton and Sam Patterelli will perform during Inlet’s “Sunsets by the Lake” Summer Concert Series on Saturday, Sept. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Arrowhead Lakefront. Bring a chair or a blanket and enjoy a spectacular sunset.

Rain location is the Fern Park Pavilion.

Colton can usually be found on stage as part of a duo with her husband, Patterelli, making music that’s an acoustic tangle of Broken Folk and Twang Rock. The duo has performed at venues from NYC to Kansas City, Palm Springs to Houston. Colton plays acoustic guitar and handles the lead vocals. Patterelli adds dimension playing bass, acoustic and electric guitars, baritone, harmonica and vocals.

The Sammy Award winning duo has seven CD’s to their credit and all have been a combination of original music coupled with their own versions of cover tunes. Colton and Patterelli’s songwriting tackle topics from domestic violence and politics to relationships and religion all within the framework of roots rock melodies. Colton is one of the few women inducted into the Syracuse Area Music Awards Hall of Fame.
