SNAPSHOT: Local group presents Food Bank of Central New York with donation

FOOD BANK DONATION — The Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Mother Cabrini Court 2432, presented Lynn Hy, Chief Development Officer of The Food Bank of Central New York with a check for $500. Hy was grateful, and explained that this donation would benefit 1,500 people. The Catholic Daughters have participated in the monthly food distribution at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Rome for 18 months. Site coordinator, Bob Bojanek, spoke at the dinner and stated that over 65 tons of food has been distributed during this time frame.
