Deputies: Man stole youth’s cell; sent messages to contact


TOWN OF NEW BREMEN — A Dexter man was charged with stealing a youth’s cell phone back in September and sending messages to various contacts on the phone, according to a report by area law enforcement officials.

On Friday Richard Feistel, 27, was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, authorities said.

Feistel is accused of taking the phone from the victim, who is less than 17-years-old, according to Lewis County Sheriff’s

Feistel will appear in Town Court to answer the charge, the deputies added.
