OLD FORGE — View, the center for arts and culture, will present David Kim in concert with a piano performance of Chopin, Mendelssohn, Debussy, and Liszt at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 26.

Originally from central New York, Kim is a lover of the Adirondack region. He has performed at the Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater, Steinway Hall, The Fogg Art Museum, and has been concerto soloist with the National Repertory Orchestra, the Syracuse Symphony, Utica Symphony, and the Clinton Symphony Orchestra of the Mohawk Valley.

Kim will perform a program featuring the works of Chopin, among them, some etudes, a ballad, and the Barcarolle, a deeply romantic work that seems to pass through blinding sunlight and serene starlight in exuberant emotion.

Works of Liszt - St. François de Paule marchant sur les flots (St. Francis of Paola walking on the waves), S.175/2 from Deux Legends), Debussy - Suite Bergamasque, and Mendelssohn -selections from Songs without Words, will complete the program.

Tickets are $35, $25 for View members, and can be purchased by calling 315-369-6411 ext. 201 or online at www.ViewArts.org.

View is located at 3273 Route 28.
