D’Arcangelo & Co. announces new hires

D’Arcangelo & Co., a public accounting firm with offices in Utica, Rome, Oneida and Syracuse, has announced the following new hires:  

Susana Brutsky is a tax accountant in the Utica office where she will work on preparation of tax returns, financial statement preparation and assisting with tax planning. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and a master’s of business administration degree in technology management with a concentration in accounting and finance.  

Robert Carr is a staff accountant, working in the tax department in the Rome office. Carr will work on a wide variety of tax engagements including preparation of tax returns and financial statements. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the SUNY Polytechnic Institute.  

Kevin Flynn is a staff accountant in the Utica office audit department. He will work on a variety of audit and accounting engagements. Flynn has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Polytechnic Institute.

Madison Rice is a staff accountant in the tax department in the Oneida office. Rice will work on a wide variety of tax engagements including preparation of tax returns and financial statements. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from the SUNY Polytechnic Institute and is also enrolled in the masters of accounting program at SUNY Poly.

Brenda Barriger is an administrative support specialist and works out of the Rome office. In her role, Barriger will be responsible for a wide variety of general administrative duties and special projects. She has an associate degree in business administration from the Utica School of Commerce.
