It’s June — meaning it’s time to welcome many things from the arrival of summer to a new host of high school graduates ready to take on the world.
It is also that time when the Oneida County Dairy Promotion organizations helps roll out the red bib and celebrate the arrival of the first baby in Oneida County born in June, which corresponds with National Dairy Month.
This year the Oneida County Dairy Princess, Tamar Mooney, visited St. Luke’s Birthplace to help welcome a baby boy, born to Ana Gonzalez-Diez and Henry De La Cruz of Utica.
His older brother, Henry, was very excited to meet the newest addition to their family, and Mooney was also excited to bring a gift basket to help promote the many health benefits of a diet rich in dairy foods.
Both mother and baby are doing well, the Dairy Princess added.
