Crash sends pair to hospital as Jeep goes off Route 365

TOWN OF VERONA — Two people were hospitalized after their Jeep went off Route 365 and crashed through the parking lot of Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Thursday afternoon.

Deputies said Terrell Todd, 31, of Oneida, was westbound at about 4:26 p.m. at unreasonable speeds and he lost control of his Jeep Renegade.

Deputies said Todd’s Jeep went off the north shoulder, traveled several hundred feet across multiple lawns, crashed into a hill and became airborne, landed in the church parking lot and traveled across to the neighboring property, where it struck an equipment trailer and finally came to rest.

Todd and passenger Katy Campbell, 32, of Oneida, suffered head, neck and lower back
pain, according to the law enforcement authorities.

They were treated at the Oneida Health Care Center.

Todd is charged with unreasonable speed, moving from lane unsafely and unregistered motor vehicle, authorities stated. He was ticketed to appear in Town Court.
