TOWN OF REMSEN — A Boonville man was charged with drunken driving after his vehicle crashed into a ditch off Route 12 Wednesday night, according to law enforcement officials.
Sheriff’s deputies said Gregory Brand, 58, of Boonville, registered a blood alcohol content of more than twice the legal threshold following the 8 p.m. crash.
The deputies added that Brand’s vehicle had crashed into a ditch on State Route 12 in
Remsen.
Brand is charged with one count each of driving while intoxicated, aggravated DWI, driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or greater and several vehicle and traffic violations, the law enforcement authorities stated.
He is scheduled to appear in Town Court to face the charges, authorities added.
