COVID-19 testing dates added in Wampsville for Madison County residents, officials report

WAMPSVILLE — The SUNY Upstate Medical University will offer a COVID-19 nasopharyngeal diagnostic tests by appointment throughout March for Madison County residents. Testing will take place inside the Madison County Office Building in the Main Lobby of Building 4, 138 N. Court St.

Testing will be done walk-thru style inside to protect everyone from the winter weather. All individuals over age two must wear a facial covering. Testing dates are as follows:

Thursday, Feb. 18, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, Feb. 25, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 4, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 18, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 25, from 4 to 7 p.m.

Anyone who would like to be tested should call 315-464-2582 and select option two to set up an appointment. High call volumes may result in long hold times. Those who leave a message for a call back are advised to instead wait as call-backs may take several weeks, so stay on the line to make an appointment. The clinic is open to individuals who are both symptomatic as well as asymptomatic.
