Cornell Extension offers farmers market workshop

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Lewis County has scheduled two sessions of training on selling at farmers markets.

Lindsey Pashow, agriculture business development and marketing specialist for Harvest New York and the Northern New York Regional Agriculture Program team, will discuss insurance, the cost of production, assessing your markets, the Farmers Market Nutritional Program, displays and presenting yourself, and health regulations.

Sessions are 6-8 p.m. Feb. 13 and 10 a.m. to noon Feb. 14, both at the Lewis County Education Center, 7395 East Road, Lowville.
