Copper City Community Connection plans open house event

ROME — Copper City Community Connection, 305 E. Locust St., will host its “Try Us Out” week April 18-22.

During the the week, doors will be open to vaccinated non-members to join members and staff to see all that the center has to offer. There will be several classes and activities to choose from. A schedule of activities:

Monday, April 18: 11 a.m. Chair Pilates; 12:15 p.m. Ener/Chi Class Combination Tai Chi/Yoga; 12:30-4 p.m. Card Games; 1 p.m. Painting; and 5 p.m. Ceramics Class.

Tuesday, April 19: 9:30 a.m. Wishful Shrinkers Low-Impact Aerobics; 10 a.m. Bingocize combo Bingo and Exercise; 1 p.m. talk with Assemblywoman Mary Ann Buttenschon; 1 p.m. Pitch.

Wednesday, April 20: 10 a.m. Clogging; 12:30 p.m. Stay Young/Strong Bones; 1 p.m. Mohawk Valley Health System presentation on blood pressure; 3 p.m. Basic Fitness.

Thursday, April 21: 9:30 a.m. Wishful Shrinkers; 10 a.m. Bingocize combo; noon Computer Class; 1 p.m. Lunch and Learn; 1 p.m. Pitch; 1 p.m. Mah Jongg.

Friday, April 22: 10 a.m. Bible for Grown-ups Non-denominational; 11 a.m. Senior Stretch Yoga; 12:15 p.m. Mindfulness Meditation; 12:30 p.m. Duplicate Bridge; 1 p.m. CABVI presentation on low vision; 1 p.m. Living Healthy Class.
