Cooperative Extension to offer grain bin safety training


ORISKANY — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County and Gold Star Feed and Grain, LLC are offering a free hands-on grain bin safety training to local first responders and farmers.

This in-person training will take place at Gold Star Feed and Grain, LLC located at 7599 Route 20 in Sangerfield, on Saturday, Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided at no cost. Seating is limited and registration is required by Nov. 1. To register, visit

How to make important decisions at the scene of an on-farm emergency

Handling confined space emergencies and other farm emergencies

A Grain Bin Rescue Demonstration

Tour of Gold Star Feed and Grain Facility
