Marianne Buttenschon, Democratic candidate for Assembly from the 119th District, has received the endorsement of the Conservative Party of Oneida County.
“My campaign is founded on our need for good jobs, good schools and safe communities — all fundamental objectives of the Conservative Party,” Buttenschon said. “I will work to cut the high taxes and excessive regulation that are killing our economy. I will make sure our tax dollars return to the Mohawk Valley to educate our children. And I will do what I have always done- support the uniformed law enforcement, firefighters and first responders who answer every call.” She continued: “The Utica-Rome area has to solve the intractable problems of long-term population loss and chronic job decline. One of us can’t do it. Some of us can’t do it. Only all of us can do it. The Conservative Party is an important part of any coalition intent on rebuilding Upstate New York.”
Also in the race are Democrat Chris Salatino and Republican Dennis Bova.
