WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Claudia L. Tenney, R-22, New Hartford, has announced that her office will host a virtual seminar with guests from the Internal Revenue Service open to all constituents. The seminar comes at the beginning of this year’s tax season, which will end on April 18 for New Yorkers.

The virtual session will be held on Monday, Jan. 31, at 10 a.m. via the Zoom platform. Those interested in attending should RSVP by emailing: RSVP_NY22@mail.house.gov.

The session will provide an overview of best practices for filing 2021 tax returns, share information about changes for this year, and allow constituents the opportunity to ask IRS experts their questions. Individuals should call 315-732-0713 with any questions prior to the webinar to ensure the presentation is tailored to your specific areas of interest.

Participants who register in advance will receive a link to the Zoom meeting on the morning of the event.

This seminar is being hosted as part of Tenney’s monthly seminar series, in which the congresswoman connects residents of New York’s 22nd Congressional District to resources and support at the federal level.
