UTICA — The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties 2021 will offer a series of free workshops and webinars for staff and board members of area nonprofit organizations.
The events, presented with support from Bank of America, include two workshops this month to be held virtually via Zoom:
Grant Writing Best Practices: From Research Through Writing — Thursday, March 11. Presentation begins at noon. Basic knowledge and understanding of how to find potential grants to apply for, reach out to build relationships with grantmakers, and ultimately craft a grant application.
Driving Impact Webinar Series: Fundraising During a Pandemic and Beyond‚ Thursday, March 18. Presentation begins at noon. Adapting to pandemic fundraising realities, especially donor giving, engagement, retention, major gifts, and how those factors will evolve as vaccination numbers rise.
