Community Center seeks donations


Rome Wesleyan Church’s Bread of Life Community Center, 401 N. Washington St., is in need of food and gift items, as well as monetary donations, as part of its outreach to support the needy during the holidays.

Bread of Life Community Center is an outreach program operated by Rome Wesleyan Church. The outreach program Loaves & Fishes is no longer at that location or run through the church.

Holiday wish list: hams, canned sweet potatoes, milk, canned corn, box stuffing, butter, dinner rolls, ice tea mix, cookies, desserts, powdered coffee creamer, toys and gift cards for children, crossword/word find books and blankets for seniors and the homebound, and monetary donations.

Tax-deductible donations may be addressed to Bread of Life Community Center, 401 N. Washington St., Rome, N.Y. 13440. Donate by credit card at, at, drop off items at the center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays, or call Theresa at 315-832-1101 for week-day drop-off or pickup.
