Comets sign pair of forwards to professional tryout contracts


UTICA — The Utica Comets have signed forwards Vincent Arseneau and Tanner MacMaster to professional tryout contracts.

Arseneau has skated in eight games with the Comets this season had has two points, a goal and an assists, and 15 penalty minutes.

Arseneau has also played in 38 ECHL games this season with the Allen Americans, scoring 32 points with 18 goals and 14 assists. The 25-year-old leads the Americans in goals this season.

MacMaster recently finished his colligate career at Quinnipiac Conference, scoring 33 goals. He has 13 goal 20 assists on the year,

The Comets host Laval tonight at 7 at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.
