Utica Comets set for visit from Cleveland, trip to Providence
The Utica Comets play their first game since Monday’s home opener — which was suspended because of the power outage late in the second period.
With some new opponents on tap, the makeup of this season’s team will begin to come into focus.
Utica will try again for its first win of the season with a scheduled visit from the Cleveland Monsters. The Comets dropped their season-opening game to Hershey last weekend.
The Comets’ second scheduled home game is the team’s opening contest against another member of the seven-team North Division. It is also the first of two scheduled meetings between the Comets and Monsters in Utica over the course of the next week. Cleveland is also set to make a visit Friday, Oct. 28.
Utica also makes its first of three visits to Rhode Island this season on Saturday to play the Atlantic Division’s Providence Bruins.
