More honors for Oriskany’s Enos

SUNY Oswego baseball player Ryan Enos of Oriskany has been named to the 2019 Google Cloud Academic Division III All-District 3 First Team. The award is for combined performances on the field and in the classroom.

Enos leads the Lakers with a .359 batting average, which is also good for third-highest in the SUNYAC. The sophomore’s 56 hits is the most for both the conference and Oswego, while his runs, RBI and doubles lead the Lakers and rank in the top five for the SUNYAC.

League coaches selected Enos to the All-SUNYAC First Team four days after being named the SUNYAC Championship’s Most Valuable Player. Enos was named MVP after going 3-for-6 with four RBIs, two runs scored, a home run and a double in the title game, an 11-7 victory over top-seeded Cortland.

Enos has a perfect 4.00 grade-point average as a wellness management major.
