Bohling to play Division II soccer at Bridgeport
CLINTON — Clinton senior Alexa Bohling will be playing her college soccer at Division II University of Bridgeport in Connecticut on scholarship.
Bohling, the daughter of Cheryl and Scott Bohling of Clinton, was part of the Warriors’ 11-0 team in the Center State Conference this season. She scored six goals, second on the team, and tallied 18 in her three years for the program.
Bridgeport’s head coach Magnus Nilerud said Bohling’s quality on the ball and pace will help his Knights again compete for the national championship, which they won in 2018. The Purple Knights compete in the East Coast Conference.
Bohling will pursue a degree in digital media communication.
