The Hamilton College Continentals moved up three spots to No. 15 in the latest National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Top 20 poll.

Clinton-based Hamilton is 8-3 overall and winners of five consecutive games. The Continentals won 3-1 at St. Lawrence University on Oct. 4, shut out then-No. 14 Bates College 3-0 on Saturday and defeated Colby College 3-1 in New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) play on Sunday.

The reigning NESCAC player of the week, Tracey Stafford, leads Hamilton with seven goals and 15 points. Hannah Dillon has a team-best six assists and is second with 12 points. Abby Griffin has played all 667 minutes in the cage and owns a 1.44 goals against average and .724 save percentage with one shutout.

Hamilton, which is 4-3 in the NESCAC, travels to No. 17 Bowdoin College (7-4, 2-4) for another NESCAC contest at 11 a.m. Saturday. The three opponents the Continentals have lost to this season have a combined record of 28-5.
