HERKIMER — Herkimer County Community College has appointed Julie Whittaker, a member of the college’s Class of 1989, of Herkimer, to the position of staff accountant/payroll.

Whittaker brings experience from Hospice & Palliative Care in New Hartford where she worked as a billing coordinator, submitting claims and recording payments and adjustments, according to the announcement.

Whittaker holds an associate degree in business administration from Herkimer College and a bachelor’s degree in health services management from the State University of New York at Utica-Rome.
