HAMILTON — Two members of the Colgate men’s basketball team have been awarded NABC All-District honors.
Junior guard Jordan Burns was named to the District 13 first-team and senior forward Will Rayman was named to the second team after both led the Raiders to a record-setting season.
For the third consecutive season, Colgate set a program record for wins with 25 and the Raiders won their first Patriot League regular season title with a record 14 league wins.
Burns was also named to the first team All-Patriot League team after he posted 15.8 points per game and dished out 4.5 assists per game. The junior guard scored in double figures in 22 consecutive games. Burns is in third place for the school’s assist record with 418. Hasan Brown holds the record at 484.
Rayman was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year for his senior season after he led the league in rebounds, 9.0 per game.
The senior forward also recorded 11 double-doubles this season. Rayman leaves the Raiders second on the all-time scoring list with 1,836 points and third in program history in rebounds with 900. He also ranks third in three-pointers made with 249.
This season marks the third consecutive season that Colgate has been represented on the NABC District 13 team.
