ONEIDA — The CNY Sportsman Show returns from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Feb. 4 at the Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main St.

There will be more than 45 outdoor businesses and clubs from the central New York area exhibiting at the show. The Outdoor Wall of Fame will feature outdoor photos of local sportsmen at their proudest moments and the announcement of the winner of the CNY Sportsman of the Year award will be at noon.

Popular New York State authors will have book signings and discuss topics including hunting, fishing, cooking and hiking. A large collection of mounts from area hunters will be on display. There will be seminars and demonstrations by experts on hunting, fishing and other outdoor-related topics.

The Utica Zoo will bring out its live presentation of wild New York State animals. Children will be able to see and touch animals throughout the day.

The public is invited to bring in any deer, caribou, elk, moose or antelope to be measured by members of the New York State Big Buck Club and Boone & Crockett. A prize will be awarded to the largest unscored buck entry.

There are several raffles and free door prizes will be announced throughout the day. Delicious food and refreshments will be served at the concession stand, so guests can stay for lunch.

Admission is $7. Ages 10 and under enter free.
