Clinton Shoppers Stroll and Holiday Parade return
CLINTON — The Clinton Chamber of Commerce’s annual Holiday Shoppers Stroll will take place Friday and Saturday, Nov. 25-26.
This popular event offers an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping mall, take part in nostalgic events within the historic Village of Clinton, and mark the start of the holiday season.
There will be special sales at area merchants, events to entertain and delight, and goodies and activities throughout the day by businesses and community organizations around the village.
A tree lighting ceremony in the Village Green will kick off at 6 p.m. Friday with the Clinton High School Chamber singers, followed by a traditional reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” by Scott Leonard, then holiday greetings from Mayor Elizabeth Tantillo, who will then start the countdown for the tree lighting.
