Clinton foundation urges support for local businesses

For the past 29 years, the Clinton Central School District Foundation has grown because of the consistent and generous support of our donors.

Together we have provided the school with much needed financial support for purchases that have enhanced our programs and student education.

Nearly three months ago, our state became front and center for one of the largest pandemics facing the country in recent history. As we start the slow creep of reopening our state and economy, it is evident that we must support our local families, businesses, shelters, and food pantries.

This year, in these challenging times, we realize that our neighbors and local businesses need the assistance of their community to recover from the economic strain brought on by this current health crisis. Therefore, this year, the Clinton Central School District Foundation is not actively conducting our annual fund campaign. Instead, we encourage you to support your local shops, businesses, artists, restaurants, food pantries and charitable organizations.

Pursuant to our mission, the Foundation will continue to assist the Clinton Central School District by using our endowment funds for the 2020-2021 school year.

We look forward to being together again and hearing from you in the near future. Until then, please help where you can, stay safe, and be well. Now, more than ever, it’s time to support and shop local.

— Cynthia Higgins, Chairperson—Executive Committee, Clinton Central School District Foundation
