Clinton boys skate to home triumph over Mohawk Valley


The Clinton boys hockey team won 5-2 over the Mohawk Valley Raiders at home on Friday night as Luke Bouse scored twice for the Warriors.

TJ Elsenbeck, Corbin Melie and Antonio Femia each scored and had an assist. Nolan Provost dished out three assists. Also collecting assists were Tyler Karuzas, Killian Kulpa and Danny DeTraglia.

Luke Chesebro stopped eight of the 10 shots he faced for the win in goal.

For the unified Mohawk Valley team, Austin Millington of Westmoreland scored, as did Kelly Cable of Vernon-Verona-Sherrill. Hunter Pratt of Oriskany had an assist.

Clinton improved to 9-8-3 overall and is 3-7-2 in Division II.
