ROME — Registration is open for the 2023 Classical Youth Chamber Music Festival (CYCMF) being presented by members of Alliance Classical Players.

Now in its 6th year, CYCMF is a free program open to instrumental music students entering grades 8-12 in the ’23-’24 school year. Recent high school graduates are also welcome.

The CYCMF takes place at the Rome Art & Community Center, 308 W. Bloomfield St., from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, July 10 through Thursday, July 13. Students will be placed in small chamber ensembles based on instrumentation and level of musicianship, and will spend their time working with lead instructors and interns (college music students) toward a free concert presented on Thursday evening.
