Clark M. Preston, aged 94, of Lee Center, NY, passed away peacefully at his home in Lady Lake, Florida, on July 16, 2019. He was born in Oswego, NY, on Dec. 28, 1924, the seventh child of Mary Preston, nee Sawyer, and Charles Preston. Clark was predeceased by his parents; brothers Lyle, Vern, Stuart and Harrison; and sisters, Grace, Pearl and Alice; as well as his son, Charles Joseph; and long time companion, Shirly Croccetti. He is survived by his daughter, Paula Preston Kelly; son, Clark Martin II; and several grand and great-grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews.

He served in WWII from 1943-1946 with the US Navy in the Pacific Theater. He worked with the airline industry from 1950-1990, beginning with Robinson/Mohawk Airlines and retiring from US Air. He enjoyed spending summers at the family farm in Lee Center, NY, that his great-great-grandfather built, as one of the founding families in the area. He took pleasure in maintaining the upkeep of the original farmhouse, outbuildings, and gardens, at one time running a driving range on the property. He was an avid golfer, who traveled the world visiting some of the finest courses. He loved spending time with his family, especially his special great-grandsons, Derik Sharkey, Sam Jones and Thomas Scalera.

At his request, there will be burial service at a later date.
