City workers to flush hydrants

City workers will begin flushing fire hydrants in south Rome on the western side of South James Street on Tuesday, April 23.

“Residents may experience low water pressure, dirty water, or discolored water,” said Deputy Public Works Commissioner Tony Nash.

“If residents do experience this, they should let the water run in their bathtub for two hours, and if it persists, call the Water Department at 315-339-7773,” Nash added.
