In addition to the children’s Easter Egg Hunt for those 5 and younger on April 17, the city will hold an adult Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, April 19 at 6 p.m. on the Griffo Green, 198 N. Washington St.

Participants will meet on the green at 6 p.m. to hear the rules and receive a map of the area of play.

Some eggs will contain candy, while others will have tickets for prizes donated by local businesses.

The participant who finds the golden egg will win a night in Downtown Rome, with two tickets to Cinema Capitol and a dinner at Copperccino’s, according to event organizers.

Prizes can be collected at Copperccino’s at 7 p.m., where free live music will be featured.

Participants should bring their own bag or basket for egg collection.

Sponsoring businesses who donated include Brenda’s
Natural Foods, Engelbert’s, Cinema Capitol, Just Teasin’ hair salon, Copper City Brewing Company, Zensations therapeutic massage, Full Lotus yoga, Edible Arrangements, Ace Hardware, and Pizza Hut, the event
organizers added.
