Cinema Capitol, 230 W. Dominick St., will screen “Spencer” on Friday, Nov. 26 through Monday, Nov. 29, and Friday, Dec. 3 through Monday, Dec. 6.
The movie focuses on the marriage of Princess Diana, played by Kristen Stewart, and Prince Charles after the relationship has long since grown cold. Though rumors of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate.
There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting. Diana knows the game.
But this year, things will be profoundly different. “Spencer” is an imagining of what might have happened during those few fateful days.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at www.romecapitol.com. Admission is $8; $7 for students and military; and $6 for Capitol “Friends.”
