Church to host blood drives, movie night
ROME — St. John’s Evangelical Luther Church, 502 W. Chestnut St., will host several upcoming events, according to an announcement by church officials.
The church will host three upcoming blood drives to benefit the American Red Cross. The drives will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1; Friday, Oct. 14, and Friday, Oct. 28. For additional information, or to make an appointment to give blood, see the American Red Cross website at https://www.redcrossblood.org.
The church will also host a Free Movie Night, beginning at 7 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 14, with a screening of the film “The Perfect Stranger.” In addition to the movie, there will also be free refreshments.
