You ever go to church and question whether Jesus alive or dead?

I know, dumb question for most, but when you look around, people are sitting listless and looking bored.  It sends signals that they are not joyful and in the mood to praise Him.  After all, we go to church to bring praise to the one who has set us free, so we sing joyful songs, give resounding testimony, and hear a challenging sermon.  Jesus is alive!  He has risen!

There is a hymn that states. “I serve a risen Savior, He’s in the world today.  I know that He is living, whatever man may say!  I see his hands of mercy, I hear His voice of cheer, and just the time I need Him, He’s always there.  He lives!”

Oh I wish, no, I pray that people could sing this every day to remind them that Jesus has defeated the cross, the grave, and is a the right hand of the Father interceding on our behalf!

The great thing is that He is returning for A triumphant victory for us all!

Eternal life, the promise that He has given to all who seek him. No matter what your circumstance are today, or what they were yesterday, Christ has risen and will lead you through the storms. Never has God’s word stated that we will live a perfect, happy life because we have given our lives to Him, and become a new person in Christ.

Never is it stated that he will not give you more than you can handle. What he promises is that He will be with you among it all! Don’t let your heart grow weary nor give in to despair. Seek Him and your will find. Praise Him and you will  find joy.

As the songs come to completion, we are reminded that He walks with me and He talks with me along the narrow way, and salvation is his gift to all mankind. Yes, He lives today! God’s blessing on all of you, as you seek Him with all of your heart!
