A Chautauqua County woman was charged with drug possession and traffic violations following a traffic stop on Erie Boulevard East Sept. 1.
Rome Police said patrols went to investigate a suspicious vehicle parked in the 200 block of Erie Blvd. E. at 8:15 p.m. While interviewing driver Amanda S. Sendall, 33, of Wilson Street, Gerry, N.Y., it was discovered she was driving with a suspended license.
As officers continued with the investigation, a quantity of Fentanyl, methamphetamine and soboxone were discovered, along with a digital scale and drug paraphernalia that were seized, police said.
Sendall was charged with three counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor, as well as several state Vehicle and Traffic Law violations. She will appear in City Court.
