CCE to host Urban Agriculture Listening Session

UTICA — Cornell Cooperative Extension Oneida County, in partnership with American Farmland Trust, PACE University, and Tug Hill Tomorrow Land Trust, will host an Urban Agriculture Listening Session from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at the Utica Public Library, 303 Genesee St.

“This listening session aims to gather information from urban-based farmers and gardeners within Oneida County,” the agency announcement said, adding “We want to hear from you why you farm, what land access means to you, and what resources and information you need.”

Children are welcome and light refreshments will be provided. There will be a $50 food gift card for those who register and attend the listening session.
