CCCC to host ‘Funeral for a Gangster’ Nov. 5
ROME — The Copper City Community Connection invites the public to join them at the Center for a murder mystery, presented by Drive Thru Theater at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5.
“Funeral for a Gangster” will take a step back in time to 1928 to the speakeasy “Ruby’s Place.” There, friends and family of the recently deceased Vita Marzetti will come to pay their last respects — and figure out “whodunnit.”
Vito “The Gut” Marzetti was gunned down in a gangland slaying, and as a dear friend of the family, attendees are there to pay their respects. Attendees will meet Vito’s widow Lena and children Ruby, Joey, and Frankie — along with other Marzetti mob associates.
Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non-members. This ticket includes lunch with chicken riggies, antipasto, miniature cannolis, cream puffs, and eclairs.
Call 315-337-8230 to register.
The CCCC encourages guests to come dressed in 1920 attire.
