ROME — Employees of Cathedral Corporation, headquartered at 632 Ellsworth Road, dress down during Jeans Day with the additional motivation of giving back to their community.

Every Friday, the workers at the company participate by donating to the Jeans Day Fund with the incentive of being able to dress down for the day.

In addition, local non-profit organizations benefit from the donated funds.

Since the beginning of the Jeans Day campaign in 2014, the employees have donated nearly $9,000 to local non-profit organizations. Some organizations that have benefited include Mercy Flight Central, Spring Farm Cares, Feed Our Vets, and Abraham House, which Cathedral employees chose.
