Cat tests positive for rabies in Marshall
A cat has tested positive for rabies in the Town of Marshall.
The cat was sent to the New York State Department of Health Wadsworth Center for testing on Friday, May 13, and positive results were reported the same day, according to the Oneida County Health Department.
One person was exposed to the cat, and received post-exposure prophylaxis.
