Capitol to host rock concerts starting tonight

Rome Capitol Theatre plans to rock the weekend with two concert events, Friday Night Whitesnake’s Joel Hoekstra & Brandon Gibbs, and Saturday Night All Revved Up! – The Meatloaf Concert Experience.

• The Campfire Tour 2021 features Whitesnake’s Joel Hoekstra and Brandon Gibbs delivering a show loaded with music from various bands each have been part of over the years.

Hoekstra is a guitar legend with Whitesnake, Tran-Siberian Orchestra, Cher, Night Ranger, Foreigner and Rock of Ages. Gibbs is the front man for Cheap Thrill, Devil City Angels and The Special Guests with the members of Poison.

Tyler — the Band will open the show with some Classic Rock hits. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Friday, with show time at 8 p.m. Tickets range from $22-$32.

• All Revved Up is The Ultimate Meat Loaf Tribute that has the look, the sound, and the show that is known to Meatloaf. The group performs all favorite Meat Loaf songs while putting on a stage show with choreography, props, stage design and costume changes that are known to take audience members on an epic Rock N’ Roll journey of Meat Loaf’s greatest hits.

John Doboe and the band are known to give a spot-on tribute show that is loaded with authenticity and leaves the audience spellbound.

All Revved Up — Meatloaf Tribute brings several of Meat Loaf’s best songs to life, including “Bat Out of Hell,” “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” and “I Would Do Anything for Love.”

Doors open at 7:15 p.m. Saturday, with a show time of 8 p.m. Tickets range from $22-$32.
