Capital project, bonding before councilors in Oneida
ONEIDA — A full agenda is slated for the Common Council’s regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, in the Common Council Chambers at 109 N. Main St. in Oneida.
On the agenda:
Monthly reports
Receive and place on file the monthly reports from the City Clerk, City Engineer, Codes Department, Comptroller, Fire Department, Parks and Recreation Department, Planning Department and Police Department.
Agreement
Authorize the Mayor to sign an agreement with BRiDGES (a/k/a Madison County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Inc.) for the 2023 Employee Assistance Program.
Adopt local law
Adopt a local law to amend Chapter 129 of the Oneida City Code-Public Access to Records-Subject Matter List
Amusement device license
Approve the Amusement Device License Application from Pepi’s Pizza for machines located at 228 Genesee St., Oneida.
Bond resolution
Authorize improvements to sidewalks, in and for the City of Oneida, Madison County, at a maximum estimated cost of $256,000, and authorizing the issuance of not exceeding $256,000 bonds of said City to pay the cost thereof.
Capital Project 23-6
Approve to move forward with Capital Project 23-6 Repair/Replace sidewalks and remove trees/stumps as required and authorize the Mayor to sign any and all documents related to said Capital Project at a maximum not to exceed $256,000.
Liquor license application
Receive and place on file the Standardized Notice Form providing a 30-day advance notice to a local municipality or community board for filing a new application for an On-Premises Alcoholic Beverage License by William Di Paolo Inc., 159 Main St., Oneida, (Kallet Civic Center) and waive the 30-day advance notice requirements as may be set forth by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Law.
Budget transfer/water fund
Authorize the comptroller to transfer $125,486.35 from the Water Fund to the Water Reserve Fund.
Memorandum of Understanding
Authorize the Mayor to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with Nadine C. Bell for service and compensation as City Attorney.
Budget transfers/amendments
Approve budget transfers and amendments as outlined by the comptroller.
Designate polling places
Designate the polling places in the City of Oneida for 2023; Wards 1 & 2 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 551 Sayles St. and Wards 3, 4, 5 and 6 at the Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main St.
Annexation of territory from the city of Oneida
Approve a resolution to deny the petition for the Village of Wampsville to annex designated parcels situated on Daniels Drive in the City of Oneida.
