The Vancouver Canucks, parent club of the Utica Comets, on Wednesday signed goalie Richard Bachman to a two-year, two-way contract.
The 30-year-old Bachman, from Salt Lake City, had a 13-13-5 record with a .902 save percentage and a 2.98 goals against average last season for the Comets.
In 92 career American Hockey League games, Bachman has a 43-36-13 record, a .903 save percentage and a 2.80 GAA.
Bachman signed with Vancouver as a free agent in July 2015. The former Colorado College star was drafted 120th overall by Dallas in 2006.
