Christopher Centner, principal of Camden Central High School, recently announced the highest ranking students in the Class of 2018.
Alexander Williams, son of Philip and Nancy Williams of Camden, is the valedictorian. After graduation Williams plans to attend either Clarkson University or SUNY Oswego to study mathematics. He was also accepted to Binghamton University and SUNY Cortland. Williams’ goals are to have a career in business with a focus on actuary science or statistics and to have a fulfilling family life.
Morgan Davis, daughter of Timothy and Wendy Davis of Camden, is the salutatorian. After graduation Davis plans to begin her college education at Mohawk Valley Community College to study Biology. Her goals are to become a medical researcher and help discover the cure for some of humanity’s worst diseases. Davis wants to “live a fulfilled life” where she is surrounded by the people she loves. She wants to be remembered as “a person who made a difference in other people’s lives even if that difference is to simply bring a smile to their face.”
Other top ranking students at Camden include Timothy Cook, LeRyiah Buckingham, Reagan Ingalls, Riley Gerber, Hunter Williams, Haidyn Hawkes, Yvette O’Kay, and David Congden.
