Calvin James Domenico, Jr, 66, of Rome and Sarasota, FL passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in Rome Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Rome on August 8, 1951 the son of Calvin James and Mary DeSimone Domenico Sr. On August 17, 1974 in Keyport, NJ he married Nancy MacDongall, a blessed union of 43 years.
He was a graduate of RCH, class of 1969, RIT in Rochester and the Ohio Northern Law School. He was an Attorney at Law in Rome and Sarasota, FL. He loved his family and grandchildren, studying the law and being at the beach. He was a member of the St. Thomas Moore Church in Sarasota, FL and St. John the Baptist Church in Rome.
Calvin is survived by his beloved family, his mother Mary Domenico; his wife Nancy; a daughter and son-in-law, Aimee and Daniel Hall of Ballston Spa, NY; a son and daughter-in-law, Calvin James Domenico, III and Jamie Lynn Waltz of Washington, DC; his cherished grandchildren, Olive Hall and James Hall; a sister and brother-in-law, Kathleen and Robert Bilyo of Rome; many sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father Calvin J. Domenico, Sr. on 7/26/1995 and a daughter Carrie Domenico on 7/7/2016.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday afternoon at 2 at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio as celebrant.
Relatives and friends may call at the Church from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday prior to the Mass.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St.
