Family nurse practitioner Briana Button has joined the medical staff of Lewis County General Hospital and South Lewis Health Center, working with Dr. Lynn Pisaniello and Dr. John Leuenberger at South Lewis Health Center on Route 12 in Lyons Falls.
She will provide primary care for patients of all ages and has experience within various environments including primary care, pediatrics, and emergency medicine. Button earned her master of science degree in nursing-family nurse practitioner from the State University of New York Polytechnic Institute in Utica; bachelor of science in nursing, cum laude, from the state University of New York at Delhi; and an associate’s degree in nursing from St. Elizabeth College of Nursing in Utica.
She a member of the New York State Nurse Practitioner Association and has student preceptor experience working with students in the Family Nurse Practitioner program and the BOCES New Vision program. Prior to joining the South Lewis Health Center she cared for patients at Mohawk Valley Health System’s Boonville Medical Office.
Button is a native of Brookfield, and enjoys fishing, hunting, four wheeling, snowmobiling, hiking, archery and long distance running. She also volunteered with the New York Mills Fire Department and Central Oneida County Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
