Building demolished at Haselton-Wright Park
MAKING WAY — The building that houses restrooms and storage at Haselton-Wright Park is demolished by city employee Randy Urtz this morning. A new structure will be built by RBCI after the building and pad is removed by the city. The project costs $145,000, funded with $100,000 from the state Dormitory Authority and $43,262 from The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties. The City of Rome supplies the balance with in kind services: of demolition of the existing structure and painting of the new pavilion.
