The Sauquoit Valley boys volleyball team beat host Herkimer in three sets Tuesday in Section III league play.

Sauquoit won the sets 25-1, 25-12 and 25-11.

For Sauquoit, Mason Farrell had seven kills, nine digs, three assists and two blocks. Marc Perry and Quincy Stayton had six kills each.

Statistics for Herkimer were not submitted.

Sauquoit (7-5) hosts Cincinnatus at 6:45 Thursday night in the league.

Herkimer (0-11) plays at Little Falls at 6:45 Thursday night in the league.

Oneida sweeps Canastota

The Oneida boys volleyball team took all three sets against Section III foe Canastota Tuesday on the road.

Oneida won the sets 25-13, 25-9 and 26-24.

For Canastota, Dylan Richmond and Braden Rowe had four kills each.

Oneida’s statistics were not submitted.

Oneida (10-1) and Canastota (8-4) link up again at 6:45 Thursday night in Oneida.
