BOONVILLE — Matt Nimey Buick GMC announces its grand opening ribbon cutting and grand opening weekend events, scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, through Saturday, Dec. 10.

“The Boonville community has been incredibly welcoming,” said Matt Nimey, owner of Matt Nimey Buick GMC. “We’ve been welcomed with open arms, and we want this Grand Opening to be a ‘thank you’ to the community as well as a celebration of our new beginning here at the dealership.”

The Boonville Chamber of Commerce will be conducting the official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5 pm on Thursday, Dec. 8. Immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony, there will be light refreshments available at the dealership, provided by the East Utica Catering food truck.

Throughout the weekend, Matt Nimey Buick GMC will be collecting toys for ‘Toys for Tots’ to be distributed to children in need in the local community.

“Our family has a long tradition of giving back, and ‘Toys for Tots’ is a great way to help out. Every child should open a gift on Christmas morning,” said Cindy Nimey, president of Matt Nimey Buick GMC.

For every toy donated, the donor will receive a double entry into a raffle for a big screen TV.

On Friday, Dec. 9, a toy donation will earn the donor a free hotdog or hamburger from noon to 6 p.m. Other food will be available for purchase.

Finally, on Saturday, Dec. 10, Santa Claus visits the dealership from 10 a.m. to noon, and will be available for pictures. Visitors are invited to enjoy hot cocoa and make s’mores.

Throughout the grand opening celebration, there will be promotional pricing and accessory incentives on cars, trucks, and SUVs. Vehicles will be available for test drives.

The events will be held in rain, shine, or snow.
